BORACAY, CEBU AT VISAYAN ISLANDS, PALAWAN NAKABILANG SA ‘WORLD’S BEST ISLANDS’

Ikinagalak ng Palasyo na kabilang ang tatlong isla ng Pilipinas bilang world’s best islands sa isinagawang survey ng international magazine na Conde Nast Traveler.

Ayon sa nasabing survey, nangunguna pa rin ang Boracay, na sinundan ng Cebu at Visayan Islands, habang pumapangatlo naman ang Palawan.

Nakapagtala rin ng kabuuang bilang na 568,035 international visitors sa bansa nitong Hulyo na nagresulta ng kitang P33.52 bilyon.

Ani Presidential Spokesperson Ernie Abella, “This reflects a double digit growth of 58.22 percent from July 2016 and its expenditures of P21.189 billion.”

Umabot din sa 3,925,626 ang mga bumisita sa bansa mula Enero hanggang Hulyo ngayong taon, ayon pa kay Abella,

“We hope that more and more tourists come to the Philippines as the administration continually works for a safe and comfortable environment for all,” anang tagapagsalita ng Pangulo.
